14 DAY TRIAL // Canonical published a few minutes ago, February 7, the regular top 10 app downloads chart, this time for January 2013, from Ubuntu Software Center.
As you can see from the lists below, some miracles happened on the paid apps chart, and the weather app Stormcloud reached number one, with RC Mini Racers on the second place. Also, we are happy to see the Legend of Grimrock game as a new entry directly on the third place, followed closely by two Humble Bundle games, Braid and Bastion.
Another surprise, on the free apps chart this time, is the awesome Plex Media Server application, follow closely by the EA game, Lord of Ultima and Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances.
A new entry was added in the paid apps chart, Drawers, which allows Ubuntu users to easily organize the Unity Launcher. It costs only $2.99 (2.23 EUR).
"The new year is in full swing and we’re happy to give you the top 10 for January 2013. Stormcloud moved into the top spot while Legend of Grimrock jumped into the 3rd spot after it’s debut in the Humble Indie Bundle. Plex Media Server took over the top spot in the free category with the EA games not far behind," was stated in the official blog announcement.
