Canonical published a few minutes ago, September 12th, the top 10 app downloads for August 2012, from Ubuntu Software Center.

On the paid apps chart, it looks like last month's first place Braid game has been dethroned by a new tool, MC-Launcher, a Minecraft mod installator launcher, followed closely by some of the best games from the Humble Indie Bundle V, Bastion and Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

On the other hand, another new app took the first place on the free apps chart, Master PDF Editor, a PDF and XPS editor.

"Here’s another installment of our monthly app charts. Stay up to date with all that’s new in the Software Centre and check out last month’s top 10 Ubuntu app downloads!" today's blog announcement read.

Among this month’s other new entries, we can mention XnViewMP, an image viewer/organizer/converter, and Quick ‘n Easy Web Builder, a WYSIWYG and website builder. Without further ado, here are the charts for August 2012!
