I've been playing Final Fantasy games since the times when the producer was called Squaresoft and people didn't even dream about a CGI movie with FF characters. It's beyond any doubt, the best RPG series in the world and you should think about Final Fantasy as a whole, not taking each title separately, because you'll find some black sheep if you do that. An innovative combat system each year, hundreds of fascinating characters and a storyline that could make Duke Nukem cry, these are the elements that make a Final Fantasy noob become a fanatic. It isn't a shame to cheat while playing Square-Enix's titles, mostly because they include huge worlds that you'll have to explore and there's always something to be missed. We provide you with the most wanted cheats and unlockables in the Final Fantasy series:
1) Final Fantasy XII Cheats
The last Final Fantasy title for the PS 2 console couldn't leave the old system without a blast. FF XII changes everything you've known about character control and battle systems, bringing us live combat as well as a great Gambit system that allows you to assign pre-defined actions to your characters. It's number one for a good reason: fans sensed that they're dealing with a great title and that the PS 3 is quite expensive so they'll have to finish this game 100% to pass the time till Final Fantasy XIII surfaces. It's number one and the most wanted cheats so far!
2) Final Fantasy VII Cheats
There is no RPG in this gaming universe that can be compared to Final Fantasy VII! It's perfect, unless you look at the graphics, but it's a game released in 1997 and it was a revelation back then. The best game in the series, till now takes up a special places in the hearts of the FF aficionados with a brilliant storyline and the best character build I've ever seen. It's number 2, just because Final Fantasy XII is so famous now, but it will surely catch up!
3) Final Fantasy VIII Cheats
When you're a follow-up to the best game in a series, there are certain expectations you must fulfill. As a fan, Final Fantasy VIII pleased me, a lot actually, but if I had never played a FF title, the game would have been just another RPG. Challenge the evil empire Galbadia and save the cute witch Rinoa, while controlling Squall, an ambitious freshman attending a military academy. The eighth installment in the series will take a lot of time to complete so we chose to ease your task by providing a couple of cheats. Number 3, but still, the podium!
4) Final Fantasy VI Cheats
If you've played this title on the Playstation console, try the GameBoy Advance version to remember the most beautiful soundtrack ever created for a FF game. It's not all music, since FF VI signaled the birth of a new combat system and those huge worlds we've come to love while playing these RPGs. Number 4 and the greatest portable version of a Final Fantasy game.
5) Final Fantasy III Cheats
There seems to be a Final Fantasy title for any console in the world, and the Nintendo DS can't miss the chance to father such a great production. The "III" is the first FF game for many, since it was the first to become famous in the USA and the way that most people found out about this gaming phenomenon. Cheating's gone portable and brought our number 5 title!
6) Final Fantasy X Cheats
Final Fantasy X was the rebirth of the FF series, this time on the Playstation 2 console. Featuring analog control, completely 3D battles and a new sport called Blitzball, this game proved that Square Enix is still in the biz. A young aspiring Blitzball star, Tidus get transported into an alternate universe, where there's a creature called Sin, that is slowly tearing that universe apart. Join forces with the sorceress Yuna and watch how she falls in love with Tidus! Since there are tons of abilities to learn we offer you the helping hand you always needed while playing FF games. Number 6!
7) Final Fantasy IX Cheats
After playing quite a bunch of Final Fantasy games you start increasing your expectations when a new game surfaces. That's when disappointment comes and FF IX is not a bad title, but it isn't quite what Square-Enix had promised us. Featuring only characters that are children, the game manages to tell a fascinating story while delivering quality gameplay and graphics. The combat system reminds the fans of the FF VI and you'll be using many cheats, I'm sure, because this title proved to be a pretty difficult one to play.
8) Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII Cheats
Trying to gain game while relying on a famous game's name is not nice and this is the blackest sheep of the whole FF herd. It's a third person shooter, something that you don't see everyday in the Final Fantasy series and a pretty big disappointment for that matter. The gameplay is pretty challenging though and it will capture you for a few hours, just enough time to become frustrating. That's what the cheats are for!
9) Final Fantasy XI Cheats
This was the first completely online experience from Square-Enix and a big disappointment for those that loved the first FF titles. Featuring thousands of quests and millions of items, this game's practically crying out for cheats, hints and tips. That brought it to the ninth place and it's a fun game if you have the time and patience to play it online.
10) Final Fantasy X-2 Cheats
I was speaking about the black sheep in the Final Fantasy series and this might be one of them. I say "might" because there must be gamers out there that love playing FF X's identical twin transformed into a PowerPuff Girls adventure. Can Tidus be alive? That's the only question that can torment a fan... Number 10 and an average game, for a Final Fantasy title, that is!
