Fans of fighting games are not very hard to please: they just need a couple of characters, good-looking combos and decent environments. That's the reason why they still play Mortal Kombat 2, almost twenty years after it was released. Blood and beautiful girls are features that become common for this genre, but don't let that fool you: we're still looking for cheap violence and spectacular finishing moves. Wrestling seems to have beaten boxing and even the arcade Tekken, having the advantage of being also a famous televised show.
1) WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2006 Cheats
Our champion and the number one of this fighting game top 10, WWE vs RAW 2006 is on the podium only because the 2007 title didn't have enough time to catch up. In a month or two we'll see the latest title skyrocketing to the first place. Let's not even mention the second place, as this game rocks through its superb combat moves, fighter variety, possibilities of customization and beautiful fights. Still played, still wanted for its cheats and unlockables, WWE Smackddown vs RAW 2006 is a game that kills your social life and feeds the gamer's thirst for blood.
2) WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2007 Cheats
The second best should be the best in this top 10. People go crazy about this game and it's been named one of the most violent and fun to play titles ever. It's wrestling after all, so it shouldn't shock anyone to see "violent" and "fun" in the same sentence. Tosses, dropkicks and smashing people's faces with chairs, it's all part
of the show. 30 men fighting on the same ring is something that can be called a "normal day at the office" for those wrestlers and crazy fighters. Number 2, for the best wrestling game around!
3) Tekken 5 Cheats
Does anyone dare to argue with me when I say that this is the best fighting game ever? Perhaps those Mortal Kombat fans will have something to say, but a couple of dropkicks in the face should silence them all. Featuring 3D environments, lots of characters, good-looking combos and a multiplayer mode that will create animosities between friends, Tekken 5 deserves its third place on the podium.
4) Mortal Kombat Armageddon Cheats
Twenty years after the first game in the series, comes Mortal Kombat Armageddon, the famous fatality-based fighting title. Featuring more characters than MK Trilogy, this title has a story mode that would even make an RPG jealous. Finally, it all adds up and you'll know every player's motivation for fighting you, because the plot unveils in a very logical way. Fatalities and brutalities are still here and that's not all! You can create your own character, starting from scrap and you can even make those customized fighters look like Kratos from God of War or Chun Li from Street Fighter. Number 4!
5) Mortal Kombat 4 Cheats
Do you remember the days of MK 4? Having 2 people play on the same keyboard, all that elbow rubbing and curses about your cheating friend. Well it's time to get that cheating friend of yours and perform a fatality on him. Of course, it's an old game, but equally fun, featuring new characters (when compared to the previous game) and fluid gameplay. The 3D environments left everyone stunned at the time and the game looks good even after a couple of years. The middle of our top 10, number 5 and a classic to be remembered!
6) The King of Fighters 2006 Cheats
Producing a game that's named "king of ...something" gives the title a certain responsibility, since there are no contenders for the crown. KOF 2006 is something else and if you're expecting Tekken or Mortal Kombat, you'll be disappointed. This title relies mostly on the arcade fighting and the chaining of combos, having worse graphics, but better gameplay. Cartoonish characters and female fighters with big eyes can distract you from those 2D backgrounds, but that won't last long. Our number 6 and a great fighting game!
7) Rumble Roses XX Cheats
Men love wrestling and women, well some even love football or beer, but it's a different matter with those two. What about the wrestling women? That's like 2 in 1 and Rumble Roses XX brings together some of the most well-drawn female characters in gaming history and makes them wrestle each other. Combos, unlockables, secret moves....it's for the girls. 20 characters and many arenas to fight on are nothing compared to the beautiful wrestlers. Too bad we have to cheat, but that brought us our number 7.
8) Fight Night Round 3 Cheats
While the other fighting games are pretty fantasy-based, having cyborgs and demons as characters, Fight Night Round 3 brings us the action we always loved to see in the Rocky series. Cut cheeks, the legendary white towel, Muhammad Ali, Frazier, Tyson, everyone's here ready to claim the title. You can change history and achieve victory even if in real life Tyson left no man standing. Great combos and great atmosphere in this Xbox 360 title!
9) God Hand Cheats
Well this is the reason for having people say that fighting games are stupid. In God Hand, you'll practically run around slapping people or kicking their asses. Catch some dude on the street, beat him up and go to the next one. It gets pretty boring sometimes, but if you want a free-roaming fighting game this is it. You might want to check out the cheats, although the game is fairly easy. Number 9 and it's there for a good reason.
10) Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection Cheats
Last, but not least comes the latest installment in the Tekken series and the best fighting game that was moved to the next-gen consoles and the small PSP. With great graphics on the PS3 and the advantage of being able to play on the run with the PSP, this title lives up to the fans' expectations. The old characters and a couple of new ones are complemented by 3D backgrounds and more combos than any other fighting game.
