I think this list is not accurate. The Lamborghin Murcielago LP640 has a 0-60mph time of 3.3 or 3.4. The Ferrari Enzo is not on the list. This just is not even remotely close to what the real list should look like.

i agree that this list is not accurate, but there are faster cars than the lp640 or the enzo, take the ascari a 10 for example, 0 - 100 in 2.8 seconds, top speed of 225 mph, i dont know what that is in kmh but anything over 220 mph is getting seriously quick. hten there is the caterham r500, from a four pot it produces 194 kw but only weighs 500kg, it can go from 0-100 in 2.88 seconds, top speed is not as impressive but it will do 200

Im not going to go on about this but lets all be real about this for a moment we all talk about fast cars most of us are never going to afford one of these monsters, so im going to tell you about 2 little gems that are very cheap and silly fast. Ariel Atom 2.9secs to 60 that is F~@King quick and it wil cost you less that £28k or what my best mate has just brought which i think is outstanding value. is the Mitibushi Evo10 FQ360. this is crazy car for £37k 0-62 is 3.8 secs and goes all the way to 170mph on the dial. I have never had so much fun in a car and it can take corners faster than ferriars. I know its not the fastest in the world but its a little food for thought when it comes down to value.

umm ye and the slr mclaren is faster then the lamborghini with its top speed and the ferrari enzo should be 2 places under the mclaren f1

Has this this car ever been brought up to its top speed of 270 mph and where did this occur. How many radiators does it have. The Veyron has ten radiotors and is made with half jet parts. Tested on a German road that follows the curviture of the planet where the horizon cannot be seen. Does it have special tires or an extra gas tank? With a small engine I have doubts the Barabus can achieve 270 mph without something going wrong perhaps running out of gas or the tires exploding. A muscle car requires a mucsle engine. BTW they are in the process of building a car that will go 275 mph. Even at 20 mpr faster Barabus will never be a better car than the Bugatti Veyron. Keep on dreaming.

I believe it is obvious you don't know any thing about the Bugatti Veyron. It has been road tested and brought up to its top speed of 250 mph. It took a special road and ten radiors to acomplish it. Where was the Barabus tested? OBTW the next Bugatti Veyron will have a top speed of 275mph. I am curios , if Barabus does reach a speed of 270 mph (which I sincerely doubt) how long does it take to stop?

Where is the ssc ultimate aero 8/t or the ascari a 10. i dont think this list is very accurate. the merc-mclaren 722 was a race car and it wasn't road legal. Even the caterham r500 accelerates faster than some of these cars

This list is not near accurate i read a Mag that said the ssc ultimate aero was the worlds fastest car with a claimed speed of 273mph

That is a cla8med speed, has it ever been proved to go that fast? It takes a special road to bring a car to that speed.

that's not right the enzo may be fast but there is a hyper preformance car that can obliterate all supercars including the ssc ultimate aero it's called the vector wx-8 and it's packing an incredible 2000 horsepower and can go up to 300mph

USSC ULTIMATE AERO TT used to be the fastest car in the world beating the bugatti veyron but now, the barabus tkr has taken over. the USSC ULTIMATE AERO TT only goes 257MPH and the Barabus goes 270MPH the USSC ULTIMATE AERO TT is nowhere nere it and some of you dont read properly saying barabus tkr goes 200 MPH.

1 SSC ultimate Aero II @271 mph
This car has technecLy NOT come out yet and all the manufacture will say is it's top UNcomfirmed top speed.

2 bugatti veyron super sport @268 mph
This is the version of the veyron that was realeased a few months ago, it was a response to the ultimate aero I being faster than the veyron (and the aero II was a response to THIS)

It is my favorite as well. I have seen it at its top speed. It takes a special road to bring a car to that speed. A road that follows the curvature of the earth. A road in Germany where cars are brought to test their speed. The Bugatti Veyron hsa ten radiators to keep the engine cool so it can go that fast. They are making one now that will come out in 2014, it will go 275 mph. I have a picture of the Bugatti Veyron as my wallpapper.

The only car anyone has talked about that's on the list or isn't is the veyron that actually has been tested on a road that clearly has the record as the fastest car. The scc ultimate aero has never been tested like the veyron has. Most of those cars are tested in place in rollers and they assume that because of a cars horse power and weight that it can go 250 mph but does anyone realize that at that speed car fall apart. The veyron is designed to handle that speed and you can YouTube it as well at that speed. Those other cars would completely disintegrate. It's not just about assuming a car can go that fast it's actually testing the car on a real road and making sure it hits that speed and doesn't * up!
