Toorox 11.2012 GNOME Is Available for Download

Toorox GNOME, a Linux Live-DVD based on Gentoo that starts as a bootable media using KNOPPIX technology and which boasts with low hardware requirements, is now at version 11.2012.

Unlike the previous version, the new Toorox 11.2012 GNOME is based on a Gentoo Linux kernel 3.5.7 and features the recent desktop environment GNOME 3.6.2.

Highlights of Toorox 11.2012 GNOME:

• GNOME has been updated to version 3.6.2;
• Xorg-Server has been updated to version 1.12.4;
• Mesa has been updated to 9.0.1;
• LibreOffice was updated to version 3.5.5.3;
• Gimp was updated to version 2.8.2;
