Tool Strike Back

Spring is here again, as Kurt Cobain used to say 15 years ago, and it comes with all that wish of bringing out new things. "Weather changes moods", to quote Cobain again… Studio albums, remastered tracks, tours, festivals… the innovation impression in show biz is stronger than ever.

Just like mushrooms after rainy days, the stars take us by surprise with their latest creations.

Hard modern rock band Tool follows this innovative trend too. And for them this really is a surprise, if we think that since 2001 there was no new song set from them; and no tour either, since 2002.

"10,000 Days" is the name of the brand new Tool album. The label that produced it is Volcano. The release day, May 2nd, is the same as the starting date for the North-American tour.

As usual, there is one single already available, before the album's official release. "Vicarious" is the song's title and it can be heard on radio shows all over the American continent.

If the thought of crossing the Ocean to see Tool live seems too unrealistic, there's no problem! The tour will go on in Europe too. In June and July, they'll be playing all around Europe, especially on festival stages. For example, on the 9th of July they will be at Turku Festival, Finland.

Let's hope "10, 000 Days" will be as "lucky" as previous "Lateralus" was. It debuted as No. 1. on the Billboard 200 Chart and soon after release sold more than 2 million discs.
