Brikk unveils a refined camera, coming next month

If you’re into photography and you’re sitting on a huge pile of money, you’ll probably be interested in the following piece of information.

Couture product and accessory manufacturer Brikk – also behind the gold-plated iPhone 6 – is teasing you with an offer you won’t be able to resist (especially if you’re a dragon and you’re drawn to gold like mad).

Joking aside, the company will be offering the “Lux” edition of the Nikon Df camera plus a complementary Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 lens in 24k gold.

The prices for the camera and lens kit will start from around $30k, so you’d better make sure that your bank account is fully stocked when you go out shopping.

I’m not sure where you’d be able to take out such a uber-expensive camera, except maybe at an exclusive fashion show somewhere in Dubai. Street photography is out of the question, of course, and so are other forms of extreme art.

Now for the heart-warming part: Brikk says that it will donate a portion of the profits to charities around the world as part of the company’s “profit for philanthropy” initiative, so buying this camera will make you feel even better about yourself.

The Lux camera plus the lens bundle will be released in October and is probably a limited edition package, so watch out for it next month.
