One of the most serious problems faced by people each summer is that of prolonged sun exposure, which can cause quite
a lot of problems, from simple sunburns to headaches and migraines. Taking these facts into account, knowing the UV intensity level could prove to be quite useful, and that's why the Solestrom Company has decided to launch a very special bathing suit, namely the SmartSwim UV Meter Bikini.
Thus, besides having quite a modern look, this costume is also fitted with a device for measuring the level of UV rays, which is then displayed on its LCD screen. Moreover, the device is (obviously) waterproof, but can also withstand the action of chlorine, so it can also be used when going to the pool.
Here are the most important technical and commercial specifications of the SmartSwim (more precisely, of the UV measuring device included in it):
- Waterproof;
- Indicates the accuracy of UV rays with a precision of 0.01;
- Battery: internal, CR2025;
- Battery life: up to 2 years per battery;
- Has an LCD screen visible even in direct sunlight;
- Very user friendly, accessible by simply pressing a button.
This special suit could prove to be quite useful, especially for those persons whose skin is sensitive to the sun, but, unfortunately, it has quite a high price, of 190 dollars, which doesn't really make it so accessible to the average sunbather.
