Denis Dyack is the boss of studio Silicon Knights and the main man behind their upcoming FPS named Too Human. And he doesn't like the way movies and games are exploited as trilogies, when initially the producers just thought of one game and then added another two to exploit the intellectual properties. Denis took on the mighty Star Wars franchise itself, saying that we was not sure that George Lucas had thought all the aspects regarding the whole three original movies before filming A New Hope.

On the other hand, he says that the videogame trilogy
that his company is trying to create is a whole different story. Even before work began on Too Human, the first of three games, the entire fictional universe and the entire story was thought out by the people behind the games.

Denis Dyack told MTV Multiplayer blog that he is "very, very leery of these games that are successful and are suddenly called a trilogy when they're on the third one. Because that's just marketing" while "Too Human, from when we started to work on the game for the 360, has been a trilogy. For the first game, the theme is discovery; the second game, the theme is revenge; the third game is enlightenment. We know exactly what's going to happen from beginning to end. It's planned out in such a way that there is without question a reason for the three parts. If there would have been a reason for four parts, we wouldn't call it a trilogy, we would call it a canto, I guess."

Too human is one of the most eagerly expected titles for the Microsoft Xbox 360 game console. The player will take on the role of a Norse hero-god called Baldur that has to tackle the incoming threat of an alien nation called the Azzari. Non-stop action combined with over-the-top super powers will make the game a FPS hit, while also letting the developers insert some RPG elements into it.

The game doesn't yet have a release date, but the developers have confirmed that there will be a 2008 game launch and that a Xbox Live Arcade demo will be available before release.
