Last week's rumors that Silicon Knights has given up the Unreal 3 engine for its upcoming "sci-fi epic" Too Human due to problems
with the Xbox 360 version of the game have been dismissed by Denis Dyack, the president and founder of the company.

"Although we do not usually comment on speculation, rumors of Silicon Knights completely scrapping the Unreal Engine 3 on Too Human and massive delays for the Too Human product release are false. Too Human is progressing very well and we expect that gamers will be extremely excited with Too Human when we next show it," said Denis Dyack.

For those of you who don't know, Too Human is a "next-generation third-person epic action-game" that is greatly influenced by Norse mythology, set in a futuristic world where the gods are not gods but cybernetically enhanced humans. The player takes on the role of Baldur, the Norse god of light, second son of Odin and brother of Thor, who is charged with protecting humanity against a relentless onslaught of machines bent on exterminating the human race.
