In an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit quoted by NeoGAF, Hawk tells a fan that at the moment he is focused on the launch of a title for mobile devices and smartphones.
At the same time, there’s a clear chance that the skateboarding series will return to the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 and he also suggests that at least one big company is interested in the project, which means that more details cannot be offered at the moment.
The extra processing power of next-gen console would allow a developer team to create better physics for a Tony Hawk title and increase the amount of tricks that gamers can execute and the spectacle associated with them.
Activision was originally associated with the franchise and it will be interesting to see whether they are interested in a revival or will allow other companies to be involved in the coming years.
