Be afraid, be very afraid, warn people online

It’s that time of the year when your inbox is teaming with holiday e-cards wishing you the best of the best. But some folks remain old fashioned and still like to send out Christmas cards that end up in your mail box.

It’s the case of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair who sent out a pretty awkward image of himself alongside his wife in what constitutes a funny deviation from all aesthetic principles.

It probably all started out with the photographer trying to capture a relaxed domestic scene featuring the politician and his devoted wife. But the result turned out to be down-right strange.

Even funnier is the reaction people have had to the Christmas card in question calling it “menacingly odd,” “fabulously awkward,” “terrifying” and even “creepy.”

One user humorously observes “the strange thing about Tony Blair’s Christmas card is how the teeth seem to follow you round the room.”

Tony Blair is apparently complying to tradition, as he is known for sending this sort of Christmas cards. Back in 2011 his Happy Holidays card included a picture of his children looking quite uncomfortable and in 2005 we saw him pose in an overly-formal portrait sitting on a chair.

So after seeing this year’s Tony Blair Holiday fiasco, you better think long and hard about your next Christmas card.
