The pooch in the picture above is now making headlines, all thanks to his looks. Thus, this rescued pup is argued to be the world's only “dog with a human face,” and the online community is eagerly waiting for it to be adopted.

Truth be told, the pooch looks adorable, to say the least, so odds are people will soon be queuing, waiting for the chance to take him home. Sources say that Tonik, as this brown poodle / Shih Tzu is called, was recently rescued from a so-called kill shelter in Kentucky, and that he currently finds itself at the Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Those wishing to adopt it must make a $250 (about €185) cash donation to this animals sanctuary, and must come pick the dog up themselves, seeing how the shelter's policy does not allow them to ship animals.

Hopefully, Tonik will soon find a new master who will be willing to properly look after it.
