Actress Toni Collette revealed that she still has a grudge against her fellow colleague, actress Renee Zellweger, for stealing her parts in "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Chicago", because they were promised to her by the producers.
The 32-year-old actress tells The Scoop: "I was doing Wild Party. I was offered "Bridget Jones's Diary" at the time, but couldn't do it because I didn't know how long Wild Party was going to play.
Then the Chicago lot said, 'We want you to do this, don't take anything else. We want to put you on tape just as a formality. Catherine Zeta-Jones is really excited to work with you.' Then Bridget Jones's Diary came out and I guess the Weinsteins had their way."
Collette, born November 1, 1972, has won three Australian Film Institute awards, including the Australian Best Actress in a Lead Role for "Muriel's Wedding", in 1994, a role for which she gained 40 pounds (18 kg) in seven weeks.
She received an Academy Award nomination for her role as the mother of troubled boy Cole in the U.S. film "The Sixth Sense", which starred Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment.
