Toni Braxton has never made a secret of her financial problems, which she claims started because of her poor health that forced her to back out of certain arrangements. TMZ is now saying that the latest bankruptcy filing also cost her several of her biggest hits.

The diva recently settled her bankruptcy case, copping pleas with her various creditors.

“Part of the deal – Toni could buy back 27 songs from her music catalog for $20K [€15,061] – with one BIG string attached... she could be outbid,” TMZ reports.

And this is precisely what happened.

“Enter a guy named Ross M. Klein, who doubled Toni's price and nabbed the tunes. Among the 27 are a few hits, including ‘You're Making Me High,’ ‘How Many Ways,’ and ‘Always’,” adds the same media outlet.

Toni didn’t lose the rights to her biggest hit ever, though, the gorgeous “Unbreak My Heart.”
