14 DAY TRIAL // A few days ago, a video of Toni Braxton in concert started making the rounds online. It showed her performing and suffering what is probably one of the biggest and most embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions of recent years.
However, as you can see from the video above, she handled the incident with grace.
“It [took] a few minutes,” the singer says in a new interview cited by TV Predictions.
“I was dancing doing the one-two and I kind of thought, ‘Are my [breasts] exposed? I am feeling air.’ I remember that distinctly, so that's why I held the top of the dress but then I realized the whole dress was coming apart. The whole dress just fell apart on stage!” she says.
And, indeed, the dress did fall apart on stage, exposing her backside completely.
For the sake of clarity, I should note that she did have a bodysuit underneath, but it was not enough to cover everything.
“I was uncomfortable. I can't deny I was uncomfortable, but I made it work and the audience kind of laughed and it turned into a burlesque show. I should have charged more for the tickets. Who knew?” Toni laughs.
