Feral Interactive has announced plans to port the new Tomb Raider to the Mac. Featuring a younger Lara Croft, the game is a reboot that emphasizes the origins of the female heroine.

In a teaser video, Feral confirms that Tomb Raider will be released on Mac “this year,” which means 2 months tops (maybe less).

“The gripping story of Lara’s evolution from amateur explorer to battle-hardened survivor will arrive on the Mac later this year in Tomb Raider, the acclaimed series reboot,” according to Feral.

“While the game is fast approaching, we’re still scouring our charts for the location of the minisite. We’ll send up a flare when we find it,” the publisher adds.

According to VG 24/7, Feral will unveil the pricing, system requirements, multiplayer details, and a mini-site dedicated to the game shortly before the release.
