You’ll need a 2.0GHz Intel Mac with at least 4.0GB RAM to play the game

It’s official. The new Tomb Raider from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix is hitting the Mac App Store tomorrow, January 23 with a $49.99 / £34.99 / €44.99 price tag.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Feral Interactive on the Mac, this all-new Tomb Raider game is a series reboot that “tells the gripping story of how a young woman becomes the extraordinary Lara Croft, Tomb Raider,” according to the publisher.

Unlike previous Tomb Raiders before it, this installment offers a cool online multiplayer mode. You’ll need a Steam account to access the online multiplayer, and it will work Mac-to-Mac only.

To play the game you’ll need a 2.0GHz Intel Mac with at least 4GB RAM, 512MB or better graphics card, and OS X 10.9.1 (Mavericks) or later.

Supported graphics cards include AMD 4xxx series, Nvidia 6xx, Intel 4xxx series graphics card or greater. According to Feral, Intel HD4000 series cards require an Intel i7 CPU or higher.
