Tomb Raider Reboot Gets New Teaser Trailer

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have posted a brand new teaser trailer for their upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, showing off some all-new gameplay from the action adventure title and setting the stage for a full video that will appear at the end of the month.

The Tomb Raider series has been around for quite some time but with the upcoming reboot title, developer Crystal Dynamics wants to start fresh with a younger Lara Croft who must go on her very first adventure after she's shipwrecked on a remote island.

While several screenshots and videos have appeared up until now, a brand new teaser trailer made its debut yesterday evening, setting the stage for a full video that will be presented in a special episode of GT.TV next Thursday, on May 30.

Even if it's a bit short, the trailer above is quite impressive and shows some of the things Lara will have to do in order to survive.

Sadly, the game was recently pushed back into 2013, so fans are still going to have to wait until they experience the new Tomb Raider game.
