Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have just revealed a brand new series of screenshots with their upcoming Tomb Raider reboot title, this time showing off quite a few intense situations and environments explored by protagonist Lara Croft.

The new Tomb Raider game reboots the whole experience, presenting a younger and inexperienced Lara Croft and forcing her to survive on a mysterious island filled with all sorts of dangers.

We have already admired quite a lot of gameplay footage thanks to several videos and now a batch of fresh screenshots has appeared.

The images, available in the gallery below, show Lara trying to navigate a burning temple and explore a more serene settlement during the day.

She'll have to use all her weapons and skills, however, as danger lurks behind every corner, whether in the form of mercenaries or environmental hazards.

The new Tomb Raider is out on March 5 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Until then, check out the screenshots below, via AGB.
