Microsoft held its own E3 2012 press conference yesterday and, besides exclusive titles like Halo 4, the company also brought in third-party developers like Crystal Dynamics, which once again showed off some gameplay footage from its upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.

The Tomb Raider series hasn’t exactly gone through the best of times in recent years but, with the upcoming reboot, it’s looking set to once again take its protagonist, Lara Croft, onto all sorts of new adventures.

After seeing the first gameplay footage during Microsoft’s E3 2011 presentation, the studio has returned with another, even more impressive demonstration for E3 2012.

As you can see in the video above, Lara now wields a deadly bow, which can be used to snipe targets from cover, but she can also resort to hand-to-hand combat and sneak attacks.

The whole demonstration is quite impressive and it seems that the new Tomb Raider will certainly give other games like Uncharted a run for their money. You can enjoy the video above and some new screenshots of the game in the gallery below.
