Tomb Raider Reboot Available for Pre-Order on Steam, Has Unlockable Bonuses

Tomb Raider, the upcoming reboot of the long-running franchise from Crystal Dynamics, is now available for pre-order on Steam and, like with quite a few recent titles, it has unlockable bonuses depending on how many people pre-purchase the long-awaited title.

The new Tomb Raider tells the origin story of the franchise’s protagonist, Lara Croft, and we already got to admire the young heroine as she struggles to survive on a gruesome island.

After the game became available for pre-order on consoles like the PS3 or Xbox 360, the title can now be pre-purchased for the PC platform via Steam both as a standard edition or a special Survival edition, which comes with a digital artbook and soundtrack, as well as a special map of the island.

Pre-ordering nets fans a special 10% discount and, depending on how many users pre-purchase the game, they’ll also receive special bonuses, like a free copy of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, or two DLC packs for the actual game, in the form of the Challenge Tomb and Endurance packs.
