Square Enix has just released the first episode in a brand new web series called Guide to Survival, which shows off how players can make their way around the treacherous island in the upcoming Tomb Raider game.
Previous Tomb Raider games usually involved the raiding of tombs, but the upcoming reboot of the series places a bigger emphasis on survival and shows a younger, more inexperienced version of protagonist Lara Croft.
We already saw her efforts to survive in
a lengthy story trailer that came out earlier this month and now developer Crystal Dynamics has posted the first episode in a new web series called Guide to Survival.
In the video above, you can see just how Lara can use the Basecamp System to upgrade her skills and gear, not to mention her Survival Instinct to explore the island.
The new Tomb Raider game is out on March 5, 2013, for PC, PS3, or Xbox 360.
