The development team at Crystal Dynamics working on Tomb Raider is launching a new patch for the PC version of the game via Steam, labeled 1.0.722.3.

The list of changes includes fixes for a number of crashes that the community has been reporting and changes to some of the core game systems.

Players also get better performance when using the new TressFX graphics options and improvements to the user interface, with a full list offered in the patch announcement.

The development team adds, " While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we made a Beta available on Steam, Build718.4, that can be used to switch back to the previous version."
