Developer Crystal Dynamics and Valve announce that they have deployed build 1.0.730.0 for Tomb Raider via the Steam digital distribution service, fixing a number of game issues and improving overall performance when using DirectX 11.

Tomb Raider now has 99 save slots for players to use and there are tweaks to the multiplayer modes designed to allow gamers to activate manually the maps they want to use.

The game also receives fixes for those game-stopping bugs and there are more changes listed in the official announcement.

Crystal Dynamics states, "While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we made a Beta available on Steam, Build722.3, that can be used to switch back to the previous version."

Those who want to play the multiplayer need to keep Tomb Raider updated to build 1.0.730.0.
