A brand new report has appeared online claiming that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is running at 60fps on the PlayStation 4 and 30fps on the Xbox One, dismantling previous statements that 30fps would be achieved by the game on the next-gen consoles.

Tomb Raider appeared last March for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and it is currently being re-released in the form of a Definitive Edition on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Last week, one of the producers revealed that the PS4 and Xbox One editions ran natively at 1080p full HD resolution but only had a 30fps framerate.

Now, a new report has appeared online via RocketChainsaw, claiming that the new Tomb Raider runs at 60fps on the PS4 and 30fps on the Xbox One.

The superior PS4 framerate is seemingly confirmed in a new Twitch livestream with one of the game's developers, who specifically said that the PS4 was running at 60fps. Unfortunately, he didn't talk about the Xbox One edition's framerate.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is out on January 28 in North America and January 31 in Europe, so expect to see the actual framerates at that time.
