No 60fps framerate for the game's definitive next-gen editions

Square Enix has confirmed that the upcoming Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will run on the PS4 and Xbox One at a full HD 1080p (1920x1080) resolution but at just a 30fps framerate.

The upcoming Tomb Raider re-release promises to deliver the most impressive experience yet, with brand new visual effects and technologies, not to mention improved character models or physics, as Square Enix was able to take advantage of the PS4's and Xbox One's extra power.

One thing that won't, however, be ideal is the framerate, as Executive Producer Scott Amos has confirmed to Eurogamer that the game's definitive edition runs at 30fps on both the PS4 and the Xbox One.

The resolution is a full HD one, 1920x1080, but without a doubt many gamers will be disappointed to hear that the definitive edition isn't that definitive, especially since some visual effects are already possible on PC, which can run the game at 60fps.
