After a too-long engagement, that made people wonder whether they would be getting married or not, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are said to be happily preparing for a wedding ceremony. It is yet unsure whether the ceremony will be a Catholic one or if it will take place in the Scientology church.
Katie's best friend, Andrea Bernholtz, the president of the Rock and Republic fashion line, told 'Us Weekly' that the two stars are currently in the final stages of preparation for the nuptials. The grand event will take place, according to Bernholtz, 'in the next three to six weeks.'. She then added, so as to avoid all further questions: 'All I really know is that the wedding is soon! They will surprise us all.'
Cruise's representative, the same one that, not long ago, said that his client and Katie will be tying the knot this autumn, confirmed what Bernholtz had already said. 'The wedding is still in the planning stages, they're really excited about it. They have always said they will be married by early autumn, and they still are in that window. They can't wait', he said.
The only thing that is left to be settled now is what kind of ceremony they will have, as it is already well known that Katie's parents disapprove of their daughter's choice of a husband and especially of Tom's religious beliefs.
