Here's an interesting piece of news for Guitar Hero fans. According to a recent post up on RollingStone.com, Rage Against the Machine's guitarist Tom Morello will be featured in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock as one of the game's bosses, giving you a little taste of what it's like to achieve such a high status in the music industry. However, Morello himself tried beating some of the game's bosses as he confirmed to the respective website and apparently, he isn't very good at it...

Tom Morello himself confirmed that he is indeed going to be featured as one of the game's fierce bosses. However, as I mentioned above, even Morello found it difficult to beat some of the opponents Guitar Hero III presents players with: "Whenever I play Guitar Hero my opponent always kicks my ass on my own riffs," stated Morello. "It's embarrassing. Now that I'm actually in the game I hope the digital me will win once in a while!"

Tom Morello performs as a solo acoustic artist under the pseudonym The Nightwatchman. He is known for his unique guitar style and his outspoken politics. He was born in Harlem, New York. His mother, Mary Morello (part Irish, part Italian) is a founder of Parents For Rock And Rap, an anti-censorship group. She was also a teacher at Libertyville High School. His father, Ngethe Njoroge, was a Mau Mau guerrilla and revolutionary. Morello's great-uncle, Jomo Kenyatta, was the first elected president in Kenya.
