For years, we’ve been hearing a lot of things about a possible remake of “The Crow” but, so far, it’s yet to materialize. Plans are still in place for it though, and Tom Hiddleston is said to be in talks for the lead.

Hiddleston already has a pretty impressive fanbase – not just because of his villain role on “The Avengers” and “Thor” – but, if he lands this role, his career will receive a huge boost.

“The Crow” and Brandon Lee’s role are iconic, so this would be an act hard to follow. If he raises to the bar, Tom is set for life.

“Ed Pressman of Pressman Film and Kevin Misher of Misher Films are producing with Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh and Jeff Most. Dan Farah of Farah Films will executive produce with Relativity's Tucker Tooley,” The Wrap reports.

“Hiddleston recently had dinner with producers and sent them a makeup test that he did on his own in London. He will undergo a proper makeup test in the coming days, as the character's appearance is important to fans of the franchise, who should be delighted with the casting of a major member of the Marvel universe,” adds the same media outlet.

Until now, several big names have been attached to the project, including Bradley Cooper, Mark Wahlberg, Channing Tatum, and James McAvoy. Hopefully, Tom sticks around for more than just the negotiations.
