Actor Tom Hardy, now shooting for Chris Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” in which he plays villain Bane, is featured in the latest issue of Dazed and Confused, doing his best broody pose – while showing his impressive body art.

The star, known for his critically acclaimed roles in “Bronson” and “Inception,” is now in hot demand with producers and movie studios, a thing that he makes sure he doesn’t take for granted.

Speaking with the publication, Hardy reveals he still feels like he were a pupil who’s getting credit from teachers even though he’s not done his homework.

“Yeah, people keep saying that to me: ‘The ship is afloat now Tom, you don’t have to worry’,” he says of the incredible amount of attention he’s been getting since starring in “Inception.”

Still, he doesn’t allow himself to be fooled into thinking that it could last forever, which is why he’s set to make the most of it and, at the same time, prove to the world there’s a good reason why he’s now riding the wave.

“But I still think it will stop tomorrow, because that’s how I’ve always thought – I’m working out of fear. One day, I’ll enjoy leaning back into my pipe and slippers,” Hardy says.

“At the moment, I still think I’m going to get kicked out of school – they’re going to realize I haven’t done my homework,” he adds with a smile.

He also jokes about his personal trainer, P-nut, who helped him bulk up for his role in “Warrior,” where he plays a professional boxer.

“We decide what I want to look like, and then he helps me get there. He’s my nanny, my best friend, my ‘manpanion.’ And he also does a great rock ballad,” Hardy says.

The photospread in the magazine can confirm that Hardy has come a long way from his slender frame in “Star Trek: Nemesis.”
