There is no feud: “she’s incredible,” actor tells Esquire

In October 2012, one particular rumor claimed that one of the reasons why “Mad Max: Fury Road” was taking so long to come to the big screen was that its two leads, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, hated each other so much they could hardly work together.

If that was ever the case, it must all be water under the bridge now because Tom is heaping on praises on Charlize in a big way in his new interview with Esquire. Of course, chances are said feud never happened because, as far as the media knows, both are extremely professional under all circumstances.

“That's disappointing,” Hardy says of the rumor of the feud. “I think she is [expletive]-ing awesome. I think she's incredible. I think she's one of the most talented actresses of our generation,” the actor continues.

So there you have it: “Mad Max” might be going through production hell, which has already translated into a huge delay in release (from 2013 to May 2015) but it’s not because its leads did not get along well.

The May 2014 issue of Esquire brings a much-lengthier interview with the handsome Brit, in which he talks about his demons, his fear of failure, how he’s intimidated by strong men, and how he never wanted to be a celebrity. It’s a must-read, by all means.
