14 DAY TRIAL // For the past couple of days, there has been a lot of talk of Tom Cruise’s latest love interest, a 26-year-old Queens native, Cynthia Jorge. If you were rooting for this romance to happen, you should know that it isn’t, insiders say.
The latest issue of InTouch Weekly writes that Tom and Cynthia really got their freak on at a party before Christmas, acting like a loved-up new couple and not caring one bit who saw them.
There was dirty dancing and there was passionate kissing, insiders at the party vouched for the publication.
According to other reports cited by Reality TV Magazine, it’s all a gross exaggeration. Cynthia herself has been telling friends that, while she knows Tom, she is nothing more to him than an acquaintance.
“Cynthia told me they went out for drinks and it was nothing but a casual night out. She said he’s a nice guy,” another insider is quoted as saying.
“And as yet another source explained to People, it should come as no surprise that Tom Cruise has been out and about. ‘He’s single and will be talking to women – all of whom he won’t be instantly dating’,” the aforementioned publication writes.
Since his divorce from Katie Holmes earlier this year, Tom has been linked with a few younger women. At the same time though, all these reports included mentions about a wife “audition” process that he and his Scientology folks were carrying out to find the next Mrs. Cruise who would, of course, come to replace Katie.
Vanity Fair even ran a very lengthy and detailed expose on one woman who was included in this “audition” process before Tom married Katie. The magazine stood by its story even after attorneys threatened legal action against it if it did not come out with a retraction and an apology.
