Tom Cruise declared one again his love for Katie Holmes in "The Oprah Winfrey Show", where he was invited on Monday. Cruise got down on his knees and repeatedly jumped up on the couch , saying that his love for Holmes was "beyond cool." "I can't be cool. I can't be laid-back."

When asked if he plans to marry, Tom's answer did more than leave the door open. "I'm going to discuss it with her," the twice-divorced actor said. "Honestly, I haven't". Later in the show, Tom went backstage and brought out Katie Holmes .

Before Katie, Tom Cruise had a short-lived fling with Latina model and one-time mob moll Sophia Vergara, 33, after he broke up with "Sahara'" siren Penelope Cruz, 31.

Holmes, best known for her role on WB's teen drama Dawson's Creek, hasn't been single very long. In March, Holmes and actor Chris Klein, 25 (American Pie), called off their engagement after a five-year relationship

Cruise stars in Steven Spielberg's "War of the Worlds" and Holmes co-stars with Christian Bale in "Batman Begins." Both films are set to open next month.
