Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to Pose Naked

A la Beckham... And that says it all.

When David and Victoria Beckham stripped for 'W' Magazine, I'm sure no one could actually object to it. Even if both of them (OK, Victoria more) are a bit annoying, they have great bodies and getting their freak on in front of the camera was not something that they hadn't done before. Plus, the photographer with whom they worked really knew what he was doing, thus the result was nothing but classy and extremely sexy.

On the other side, we have Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, a couple that has been subject to so many rumors about their marriage being nothing but a scam that I'm still wondering how come Tom did not declare a war against all media and sued everybody. Aside from that, TomKat has always presented a very wholesome image of family life: always together, holding hands, a child from the very start of their joint life and few real scandals (emphasis on 'real'). Their only public displays of affection include kissing for the paparazzi and there is not one single photo (that we know of) to show them in other (more compromising/sexual) position.

Therefore, the shock of the day comes from this rumor: they too are planning to strip down to their skivvies or even go completely nude for a photo shoot that would eventually quieten all those haters who say that they never have sex for the mere reason that Tom is gay and Katie just plays beard for him. Sure, the sources are not that reliable and they are not even connected to TomKat in any way but, hey, a rumor is a rumor and there can always be some truth to it, you never know.

Behold the term of comparison: Posh and Becks in 'W'.

'They have already started planning some of the photos. One suggestion they were keen on was a shot of them posing together in the shower, dripping wet and covered by nothing but steam. Tom and Katie really have amazing chemistry. They want to show the world how much.', one source told an Australian tabloid. However, the 'insider' could not provide any information on when that photo shoot will take place or which magazine will run it.

These being said, I just have to add: while both men and women had something to look at in the Beckhams' photo shoot, the thought of seeing Tom and Katie naked and steamy and stuff is, well, weird. Tom was hot once but he's kinda fighting his hotness now and Katie is just turning into a housewife. The last thing I could think of when I see them together is sexy... but who can tell? People are known for being fickle.
