Ever since they got together and had a child, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are at last to make their relationship official. A spokesperson for the blockbuster actor announced that the two are set to walk down the aisle this autumn.
It's been many months since the press started talking about the marriage of the TomKat couple and, at times, rumor had it that they were already a family in the eyes of God. Or whichever is the deity that rules over the Scientology church...
Last month, Tom and Katie signed a prenup stipulating all possible financial clauses and everybody was expecting an upcoming future wedding. But the two stars just laid low and refused to make any public comments on the state of their relationship.
A few days ago, they have made a final decision and, as Tom's PR said 'the plans are for late summer early fall' and the wedding ceremony is to take place at one of Cruise's many houses. It is yet uncertain whether Katie will have a Scientology ceremony but chances are that this is most likely to happen.
Holmes' parents already made public their decision of not attending to their daughter's wedding, if she isn't going to have a Catholic service. Both are devout Christians and refuse to take part (or be present at all, for that matter of fact) in a ceremony at the Scientology church.
