Tab claims to have explanation for Tom Cruise's absence from Suri's life: he's not her father

As far as the media knows, Tom Cruise has not seen Suri, his daughter with ex-wife Katie Holmes, in over a year. During this time, had they spent any time together, there would have been at least a few paparazzi photos to confirm it.

This week’s print edition of The National Enquirer (story via CB) has an explanation for this, and as it happens, it’s not a new theory: Tom has removed Suri from his life completely after the divorce because she is not his daughter. L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, is the real father.

Suri is Hubbard “reincarnated”

If you’ve been following celebrity gossip, you probably heard this rumor before, as it started after Katie and Tom confirmed the pregnancy, and picked up considerable speed with the publication of the unauthorized Tom Cruise biography by Andrew Morton, which came out in 2008.

The Enquirer is now saying that it’s the only explanation possible for the fact that Tom is no longer a part of Suri’s life: now that he and Katie are no longer married, he sees no point to pretending to have fathered the child.

The real father is author Hubbard, who started what is today the Church of Scientology, as members of the Church decided to impregnate Katie with his sperm, which had been kept frozen specifically for this purpose.

Tom wouldn’t have been able to father a child either way, the report argues. “It was always a given that Hubbard was going to be reincarnated,” sources who identify as former Scientologists reveal for the tab.

We should add that, because of his involvement with the Church of Scientology and particularly his close relationship with current leader David Miscavige, Tom has often been plagued by all kinds of rumors, one weirder than the other.

No paparazzi record of a relationship with Suri

Tom and Katie got divorced in 2012, with the proceedings being over in a matter of weeks, before any kind of “dirt” could transpire in the glossies or the tabloid media.

Shortly after, Tom made a point of not avoiding paparazzi when he and Suri would spend time together, even inviting one such photographer to tag along with them for an entire day, for a write-up in one of the US weeklies.

Since then, Tom hasn’t been photographed once with his daughter, even though he’s papped on the regular, either out on the town with friends or when he’s working on a new movie, on location.

Indeed, it seems that all Cruise does these days is work or train for a new role. Several major gossip publications have made it a point of counting the days he’s not seen with Suri, and the conclusion is that he hasn’t seen her for anywhere between 1 year and 2 years.
