Tom Cruise plans to spend over $1.5 million (GBP 830,000) for a house in Toledo, Ohio, where his fiancé Katie Holmes was born.
The Toledo locals are expecting the Hollywood couple, who have recently announced they're expecting their first child together, to become their new celebrity neighbors.
Dale Bruhl, the owner of the nine-bedroom mansion which reportedly caught Tom and Katie's attention, says: "The neighbors saw
limousines in front of the house when (real estate agents) were showing it. I'm sure it's them. Her mother lives in the area."
A store window in the center of the town already reads: "We gift-wrap baby gifts for Tom and Katie's baby!", according to Contactmusic.
Meanwhile, Cruise's representative has slammed these rumors, stating: "Everyone wants Tom to buy a house in their neighborhood, but it's not true."
Hollywood actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are said to have decided to get married next month on a beach, because Holmes doesn't want to "walk down to the aisle with a bump".
According to a source quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "Tom's old fashioned. He wants his child to be born in wedlock. He's very romantic and wants everything to be in place before the birth."
They both decided on the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun as soon as they got engaged and initially were planning on tying the knot around Christmas. Katie didn't know that she was pregnant, so their arrangements suddenly had to be scrapped".
