Tom Cruise is in top shape now that he’s shooting for the upcoming installment in the “Mission: Impossible,” the one called “Ghost Protocol.” Fresh photos from the set reveal, once more, just in what fit shape he is.
The actor, seen a while back
shirtless and doing his own stunts on a building and then on top of a car, was spotted in a torn wifebeater on the set of the film, thus offering a very good look at his impressively toned arms.
Not that Tom has ever been anything but fit, for that matter. Still, for an actor of whom bad mouths once said he didn’t have what it took to carry an action movie all by himself, he seems to be doing a fine job, as the
Daily Mail also notes.
“He might be 48 years old, but Tom Cruise appears to be in the best shape of his life,” the British tab writes. Looking at the photos, one can’t but agree.
“The actor showed off his incredibly muscular arms in a white tank top on the set of
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol in Vancouver, Canada, yesterday,” says the Mail.
“Cruise will reprise his role as secret agent Ethan Hunt in the new film, which is being filmed 14 years after the original Mission: Impossible film in 1996,” the publication further writes.
One possible explanation for Cruise’s incredibly toned body (aside from the obvious one, that he works out a lot) is that he’s also choosing to do most of his stunts in his films, which, understandably, helps him stay in top shape.
Cruise did it before, with “Knight and Day” (also starring Cameron Diaz), and he’s also doing it now, for “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” where he’ll be seen
opposite Jeremy Renner.
“When you’re doing a film like Knight And Day, you train through stunts. You learn what you have to do,” Cruise said when he was promoting the film earlier this year, as cited by the same tab.
“And in movies, you have to be just as fresh in the 14th hour as when you got there because you just need that energy to perform and it’s something I live with,” Tom revealed.
“In my life, I love sports, a lot of different sports – hiking and climbing. That’s the stuff I do for the films but also with the kids, they are activities you can do together,” he further said.
