Tom Clancy's EndWar is a video game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai and published by Ubisoft itself for a variety of platforms, including the PC, consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, as well as portable platforms like the Nintendo DS or PlayStation Portable.
The game was released for consoles on November 4, 2008, in North America, and November 8, in Europe, and reached PCs on February 24, 2009.
The game is based, like its name suggests, on the hit Tom Clancy novel EndWar, in which World War III starts in the near future, engaging forces like the European Union, with its Enforcer Corps, the Russian Federation, with its Spetsnaz Guards Brigade, or the United States of America, with the Joint Strike Force.
Players act as commanders of those forces, engaging in different types of missions all around the world, ranging from Conquest, Assault, Raid, or Siege, each with their own unique characteristics, objectives and tasks.
All missions task players with annihilating the enemy forces using any and all means available, including weapons of mass destruction, which are available in all scenarios except Raid.
HINTS
More units in Campaign mode
When you do a level in campaign mode, surrender, then play it again. Surrender again. When you play it again, you will have all reinforcements ready. This works in all levels in Campaign mode.
Easy medals
Select a level that you can earn a medal easily. Play the level repeatedly until you get gold. For example, to get an easy "Preserver Of The Infantry Medal," play the first level and win the battle without losing any infantry.
GLITCHES
Stuck highlighted
When you are done giving attack orders, there is a button with a "faster" function. Select it and it will become blank while the CPU movement will increase. Tap the blank again, and while you are attacking the button will remain highlighted.
