Star talks family, love and work

Tom Brady is not only a successful quarterback but also a very appreciated model. As busy as he is joggling so many things, he is also a devoted husband to model Gisele Bundchen and a doting father to the son he has from a previous relationship. How does he do it? It’s not easy, he tells the latest issue of Details magazine, but he wouldn’t change a thing about his life right now, even if he could.

Speaking of his two careers, modeling and football, Brady is positive the former is a much tougher job than the latter. For starters, out on the football field, Brady feels more confident in the things he can do because he trains for this and knows exactly what to do. In exchange, when he’s modeling, he feels less confident because he has to be told what to do. “I’m at the whim of the photographer and the crew.” Brady tells Details.

Since on the topic of models, in the same interview, Tom Brady gives what can only be deemed the best comment ever on life with a model, saying that life with wife Gisele Bundchen has many advantages, one of them also being that he gets to eat more. “Yeah, she gives me all the food on her plate because she doesn’t eat it.” the football star says more or less in earnest. But that’s not all that Brady has to say of his wife – and reported mother of his child, but that is yet to be officially confirmed – since he also shares the endearing memory when a friend set him up with Gisele, telling him he was his “girl version.”

Much has been said and written about the unusual way in which the romance between Tom and Gisele started, namely shortly after he left his former lover who had just learned she was pregnant. Even if many things did not turn up as he might have wanted them (or expected for that matter), Tom says he finds happiness in everything about his life right now. Sometimes, plans simply have nothing on real life, the star seems to say.

“That’s not how you envisioned your life, that’s not how you envisioned having children [out of wedlock], but it happens. Life is not living in the suburbs with a white picket fence. That’s not life. Somehow our American culture has made it out that that’s what life needs to be – and that if it’s not that, it’s all screwed up. It’s not. You go through life and you try the best you can.” the star further says for the magazine.
