Adults don't take responsibility to remove the cigarette from him

Videos of kids smoking are nothing new, but they never cease to shock, as many of them show how irresponsible some adults can be.

A new video of a toddler, believed to be between two and three years old, smoking a cigarette in the streets of China while adults passively look at him in amusement has made its way on the Internet, sparking outrage and bewilderment.

The innocent and angelic child is blameless, as he probably just mimics the behavior of the adults around him. He is seen sitting on a small chair, holding a cigarette in his hand and taking several puffs of it like an “old pro.”

Even if a person, presumably the child's mother, briefly scolds the kid, the cigarette is not confiscated, and he continues puffing while being laughed at by onlookers.

With the exception of a small number of people who take this as a form of entertainment, most people vehemently condemn the adults in this child’s life, as no one takes any responsibility to remove the cigarette from him.

Smoking in China is prevalent, as the country is the world's largest consumer and producer of tobacco, but seeing a kid whiffing like that is simply outrageous. It just make us wonder how in the world are there parents like these, purposely teaching their offspring wrong and allowing them to insist on misbehaving.
