Today Weather by savvy apps is getting its first feature update since launch, adding the ability to zoom to see the entire United States of America and have more frequent radar updates.
The company has also added options for keeping the background as day (light) or night (dark), as well as hourly wind information, more wind units (knots), and Launch Center Pro support.
The accuracy for local weather has been improved, and the settings have been reorganized to make room for the new options.
A few bugs have been addressed, including: local weather not updating when changing locations; the inability to add a blank location; the settings button bumping down slightly when tapped; and an error causing extreme temperatures to display improperly.
Today Weather is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
