The Nintendo Wii is a phenomenal console, as it has managed to dominate all of its main rivals, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, in terms of sales ever since its launch. It introduced new concepts to gaming and, with a big library of titles, has almost single handedly created a new type of gamer, the casual one.

Sensing that there was a lot of profit to be made, a lot of retailers, either online or traditional brick-and-mortar ones, have created special offers, bundles or promotions to get people even more interested in buying titles for the Wii. The big online store Amazon is no exception, as almost all of its daily video game deals feature some sort of Wii-related merchandise.

But today is going to be very special, as the retailer has named it Wii Deal Day and will be selling games for the Nintendo console at a very special price. They haven't been announced yet, as they will be receiving their price cuts every two hours, with the first deal going live at 6 AM Pacific time. New titles will follow at 8 AM, 10 AM and so on, all of these besides the Deal of the Day that will be running until it is sold out.

“All Wii Games, All Day. Make sure to visit the Gold Box on March 31 for six great Nintendo Wii video game deals. Happy gaming,” stated the Amazon Gold Box team on the official forums of the online retailer.

This is really something a lot of people should check out, as Amazon will surely throw in very interesting titles from the huge Wii game library. Without a doubt, this will also guarantee a nice profit for the retailer besides an even nicer one for Nintendo.
