Toast 10 Titanium, the latest version of the Roxio's burning and digital media software for the Mac has just received an update, resolving an issue when converting QuickTime movies with text tracks, as well as improving handling of corrupt PCM audio packets, to name some of the changes. Toast Titanium 10.0.2 is available for immediate download right here on our web site.

According to Roxio (owned by Sonic Solutions), the people behind this award-winning piece of Mac software say that Toast Titanium 10 is “the essential complement to the Mac OS and iLife for disc burning and much more.” There are quite a few reasons why Mac users should get the program, Roxio suggests. For instance, Titanium seems to be pretty much the easiest way to burn CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. The app also offers abilities like: copy discs with one click, compress & convert video; expand your iTunes library with web audio capture. Best of all, Toast Titanium lets you convert your media for iPhone, iPod, Apple TV, Xbox 360, PS3, etc.

"Toast is far more than better burning on Mac OS; it's about enabling users to manage, create, enjoy and simply do more with their personal library of digital photos, music, and video," said Vito Salvaggio, vice president of consumer products, Sonic Solutions. "This latest version will have special appeal to consumers that want to easily move digital media between their Mac and digital devices such as the iPhone and TiVo, or enjoy Web-based video content offline."

As the release notes for Toast Titanium 10.0.2 indicate, Roxio was able to resolve a crash issue that could have occurred with some FLAC audio files, and an issue when converting QuickTime movies with text tracks. Lastly, the update should improve handling of corrupt PCM audio packets.
