Developer Respawn Entertainment has delivered some new details on one of the maps in the upcoming IMC Rising DLC for the popular first-person shooter Titanfall, scheduled to come out sometime in the near future.

The game's third DLC pack is titled IMC Rising, but the revealed map, Backwater, is most likely to depict them falling all over themselves.

"High in the mountains, ex-IMC pilot Barker and his fellow colonists have made a comfortable living by producing moonshine in this hidden bootlegging colony," the map's official description on the Titanfall website reads.

Backwater consists of concept art and designs that didn't make the cut for the original game, Respawn reveals, and the new map is based on the middle-of-nowhere planet where the pilots of the industrial conglomerate brew the fuel that keeps them going: moonshine.

Backwater is built around changes in elevation, with rice paddies making an adequate playing field for dashing and Titan arm wrestling, and the middle portion having a lot of high ground, offering tactical superiority to whoever is skillful enough to hold it.

In addition to this, the pilots can also sneak around grain storage facilities, in order to escape Titans and the bustle outside, keeping away from the peril of traveling from hardpoint to hardpoint unprotected.

The pilot-exclusive spaces are designed to be simple and compact, in order to keep the action flowing. Pilots can also make use of ziplines to jump from building to building, making their way through large open areas that have no cover to offer protection from enemy fire.
