Bluepoint Games, the developer of the Xbox 360 edition of Titanfall has offered one last round of details about the game ahead of its debut next week, confirming that the title is running at a framerate of over 30fps while boasting all the content seen in the game's PC and Xbox One editions.

Titanfall launched at the beginning of March on the PC and Xbox One platforms, delivering a stellar first-person shooter experience that was multiplayer-only and included all sorts of great moments, thanks to the team at Respawn Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Bluepoint Games has been working hard on the Xbox 360 edition of the shooter and, while it was set to appear alongside the PC and Xbox One versions, it was delayed twice by a few weeks for some last minute polishing.

According to Senior Producer Dary Allison, the extra time paid off as Titanfall on the Xbox 360 manages to deliver the same great content seen in the other two versions while managing to respect the hardware limitations of the old console.

"Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions. The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great," the developer said on the official website about the new project.

Of course, some of these limitations are quite stringent but Allison confirms that Titanfall on Xbox 360 runs at a framerate of over 30fps while still delivering the core first-person shooter experience.

"There are of course some differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware - for example, the game runs above 30fps - but the experts at Respawn worked with us to ensure that all the intense, 6v6 wall-running, titan-dropping action is there," he added.

The delay was also a good decision, as the extra development time certainly benefitted the game, according to the producer.

"We wanted Xbox 360 gamers playing Titanfall at the same time as everyone else, but it needed more time. EA and Respawn made the right call and the extra time has paid off. Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is definitely a game that Bluepoint Games is proud of, and we’re excited for you to get your hands on it."

Titanfall drops on Xbox 360 on April 8, in North America, and April 11, in Europe.
