Respawn Entertainment has revealed a few more details about its upcoming Titanfall multiplayer first-person shooter, this time confirming that the title won't feature any microtransactions and that a season pass might debut at some point in time.

Titanfall is eagerly awaited by many PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 owners worldwide, as it finally debuts in March.

Until then, an alpha test stage recently took place and now Respawn has begun sharing new info about the title.

According to the studio's Twitter, Titanfall will not feature microtransactions. A Season Pass that covers all upcoming DLC for the game might be released at some point in time, however.

Titanfall will be sold as a retail game despite its being a multiplayer-only experience.

The studio has also revealed that it's going to post a public announcement if a beta stage for Titanfall takes place in the future.
