Respawn Entertainment has denied recent reports that Titanfall will ship on the Xbox One with the low-res textures seen in the game's alpha stage, as it greatly reduced those files in order to make the alpha build easier to download.

Titanfall launches in March, and it has already had an alpha stage on the Xbox One platform. After images and videos leaked form that test, Respawn has confirmed that the textures are heavily compressed and reduced in quality when compared to the ones that will be featured in the final version of the game.

Earlier today, however, a report claimed that the final Xbox One edition of Titanfall would still have the low-res textures from the alpha build.

Respawn has now denied these rumors on Twitter, saying that "Alpha textures were reduced to have a smaller Alpha download."

The studio has also mentioned that it's still unclear if 16 multiplayer maps will be included in the final game.
